Introducing new Carrington Collection

New for this season, we introduce a contemporary curation of our classic Carrington collection. Precious gemstones rubies, emeralds and sapphires are accentuated by a delicate cluster of diamonds set in 18ct gold. The feminine additions are a perfect choice of jewellery for any occasions. Previously, Mappin & Webb paid homage to its historic past by launching a jewellery collection named after the jeweller’s first identity.

The historic Carrington brand was court jeweller from the early part of the 19th century and only became Mappin & Webb in 1864 when the four grandsons of the company’s founder, Jonathan Mappin, changed the company name in recognition of the contribution made to the business by their brother in law George Webb.

With the Carrington Collection, Mappin & Webb celebrated an astonishing historical pedigree dating back to 1775. The brand’s position at the pinnacle of British jewellery design for over 240 years was celebrated in a kaleidoscope of classic coloured stones.

Each design in the original Carrington collection featured a prominent precious stone highlighted by a halo of white diamonds and set in 18ct white gold. This season, Mappin & Webb have breathed new life into the collection with the updated pieces. With rings, necklaces and bracelets available, the gemstones are smaller and more wearable for every day. These styles would work well with all manner of different outfits, and due to their delicate size can be layered effortlessly.
