The first F77 Chrono Mecaquartz a brand-new creation, not a re-edition. Rooted in Nivada Grenchen's chronograph heritage that stretches back to 1926, the F77 silhouette first debuted in 1977 and has earned an enduring place in the modern collection. Adding a chronograph felt both natural and inevitable and because the F77 never existed as a Mecaquartz before, this is genuinely new territory. The Grey Woven reference takes the F77 Chrono in a more understated direction. The anthracite embossed woven pattern, catalogue reference Cool Grey 9C, gives the dial depth and visual texture without drawing attention. Twin chronograph subdials, applied silver-tone indexes with SuperLuminova white dots, and clean baton hands ensure instant legibility under any light condition. The 38mm 316L stainless-steel case measures just 12.2mm thick, with a lug-to-lug span of 46.2mm, proportions that sit flat and comfortable on most wrist sizes. The recognizable riveted bezel and ergonomic downward-sloping lugs carry the original 1977 spirit forward. A solid screw-down caseback and double-domed sapphire crystal complete the package. At the heart of the watch is the Seiko VK64 mecaquartz movement, a hybrid caliber that uses quartz regulation for precision (±15 sec/year) while routing the chronograph through a fully mechanical module.
