DETAILS OF YOUR COVER
All jewellery and watches purchased are covered from the moment you leave the showroom, effective worldwide, against the following:
- Accidental Damage: as the result of an accident
- Breakdown: If your insured item stops working because of the sudden and unexpected stoppage or failure of the insured item caused by a mechanical or electrical defect, after the manufacturer’s warranty has expired.
- Theft:
- If your insured item is taken unlawfully from you or from anyone using or storing your insured item with your permission.
- If the insured item is in a building and locked in an immovable compartment and there is evidence of forced entry.
- If the insured item is concealed in a compartment or boot in an unattended vehicle and there is evidence of forced entry.
Certain conditions are excluded from Mappin & Webb Care cover, including the following:
- Items that have been lost
- Any loss of a single earring from a pair of earrings
- Minor denting or scratching caused by normal wear & tear
- Routine servicing and Battery changes due to general wear
- All Tag Connect smartwatches are exempt from Mappin & Webb Care
