TAG Heuer is delighted to introduce the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 – a pair of solid 18-karat-gold watches powered by the new manufacturer Calibre TH31-00 and delivering an 80-hour power reserve.

The two new references add a striking, high-end twist to the Swiss company’s family of high-performing, go-anywhere luxury tool watches. They are the first new generation of TAG Heuer Aquaracer models with solid gold cases and bezels.

Each of the new models echoes the basic form and design principles of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional collection. More than four decades in the making, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer is a luxury tool watch for the outdoor adventurer that goes beyond the edge.

Despite the precious metals involved, both references remain modern sports watches designed for a life of adventure spent in the great outdoors. Signalling their sportiness, both have a high-contrast black DLC-coated steel screw-down crown and feature a lightweight, black DLC-coated Grade 2 titanium caseback, into which TAG Heuer’s engineers have inserted a sapphire crystal caseback, opening up a view into the new movement. Both watches are water-resistant to 200 meters.

In line with their high-end profile, both TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 models have beautiful gradient dials, again signalling the intense luxury of the solid 18-karat gold cases. The rose gold model has a black dial that fades elegantly into a bronze-tinted grey centre. The yellow-gold variant has a blue dial that shimmers at its centre, like the light as one emerges from an underwater cave.

Both dials feature applied, golden-edged hour markers filled with high-grade Super- LumiNova® for clear and lasting low-light visibility. The hour and minute hands are also filled with high-grade Super-LumiNova®, as is the “lollipop” section of the central second’s hand. Both 18-karat-gold watches are set on rubber straps in black or blue to correspond to the dial and are equipped with black DLC-coated Grade 2 titanium clasps.
